I'd say that I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Never read anything by this author until now, and I feel like reading more from her, so that's a good sign. One thing that bothered me was the flatness of Tristan & Charlotte. More so Tristan. The author could have done a lot better at explaining what Tristan was about & some of his thoughts & feelings instead of he was a cardboard cutout standing in the background.
